Halle Berry has confirmed she is pregnant. The Monsters Ball star has revealed she is "beyond excited" to be three months pregnant with boyfriend Gabriel Aubrys baby.

Halle, 41, told US TV show Access Hollywood: "Yes, I am three months pregnant!

"Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and Ive waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next few months will be the longest of my life!"

Halle, who has been married twice met 32-year-old model Gabriel while shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles in November 2005. The pair went public with their relationship in February 2006.

By Hollywood standards this a stable-enough relationship and its nice to see someone thats suited for motherhood take on the role, and my "Oh God not Nicole Richie" disappointments are calmed!

Just yesterday Valentino gave his notice for his retirement from the fashion industry, yet today we know his legacy will live on through the youthful eyes of former Gucci Designer, Alessandra Facchinetti. As we prepare ourselves to see Valentino go, we can look forward to the future with excitement as Facchinetti readies herself to interpret Valentinos elegant style in her first collection through the Valentino brand in March 2008. Facchinietti had been a front-runner for the position since early Spring of this year and now that she has been officially named as successor, she will be able to channel Valentinos panache into her fashion design and lean on Valentinos accessories designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, who will retain their current positions, if necessary. However, the question that may enter into everyones minds may be whether or not she can pull it off. She is definitely a talented fashion designer, but her departure from Gucci only two months after succeeding Tom Ford, may have everyone wondering if she will be able to maintain longevity at the House of Valentino and if her interpretation of Valentinos core values in design will hold true and resonate with its audience. Giorgio Armani made a very accurate statement upon hearing the news. "Valentinos style is a classic, in the purest sense of the word, and has made women beautiful for generations. Whoever will be his heir will have the responsibility to continue this great tradition when expressing their own individuality."

It will be interesting to see the changes in design, for the label in the future.

Who knew?? OK, so I always thought of Lela Rose as clothing for ladies who lunch. Her velvet low-back dress which goes for $1,850 at Neiman Marcus is something my wardrobe strives for. Dream on, Fashionator, dream on. (FYI, Im watching what I spend these days as I just moved into a new apartment that I must furnish. Last night, I ate on the floor, "picnic" style.)

Ill be the first in line for these T-strap heels (which I presume will go fab with my black, wide-leg trousers). Italian Fashion Designer, Valentino, is set to resign today according to WWD. After 45 years of creating luxurious, sexy and distinguishably elegant fashion. Valentino will complete one more Ready to Wear show and one more Couture season. Valentinos collections have gone from the runway to the red carpet and have been seen on celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston and Gwenyth Paltrow, but most memorably on Julia Roberts at the 2001 Oscars, whose vintage Valentino gown wowed all of Hollywood. Accomplishing many accolades throughout his design career, from being awarded the Neiman Marcus Prize in 1967 to the the Cavaliere di Gran Croce from the President of Italy to The Lifetime Achievement Award from the CFDA in 2000, the legacy of Valentino is far reaching and embedded into fashion culture for all time. Venice Film Festival winner Jia Zhang-Ke is back with a a documentary on Chinas burgeoning fashion industry, documenting everything from the destitute sweatshop factories to the glamorous runways in Paris.
The film, "Useless", documents the effect that the fashion industry has left on China, such as small-time tailors having to close shop to earn wages by working in the mines because clothing factories have put them out of business.
Informative, and about the fashion industry? My only complaint is that I dont live in one of the 10 Chinese cities it is being shown in.

What are the five fashion essentials every woman should have in her closet?
1- Beautiful high heels. Height is paramount. It keeps u on your toes- literally!
2- A nice pair of jeans. They are clean, and crisp. With a pair of jeans you can still look fabulous without looking like if you are trying too hard to dress up.
3- A funky purse. You can be wearing an everyday outfit, but with a funky purse it’ll give your outfit style – just as if you planned it all along. After all, you must have planned it because check out that purse!
4- Anything expensive or couture, because you deserve it. It could be something simple like a wallet, or something dainty like a sapphire ring. It has to be a splurge – Manolo Blanik shoes, Prada bag – you know! Anything that makes you remind yourself that you bought it because you are worth it.
5- Comfortable sneakers – many women dress up lovely but they don’t dress down lovely. You can be just as fashionable dressed down. Just because you are going running doesn’t mean you have to wear an old pair of dirty sneakers. If you are going to the beach with your family, it doesn’t mean you have to wear the oldest pair of chanclitas. You can be fashionable and comfortable at the same time.

Looking chic is not effortless. It takes a lot of work and dedication to achieve and maintain a fabulously chick look. While makeup and skin care products are necessary for a polished and elegant look, a well-balanced diet and the right attitude are just as important. Here are some tips to help you rival even the most fabulously chic celebrity. -Judy

Tip #1: “You Are What You Eat.”
I cannot stress this enough, especially to some of my junk food-loving friends: What you put in you body is more important than what you put on your face. Most people buy the ridiculously priced cleansers and moisturizers to achieve a flawless, radiant complexion, while my mother will use whatever brand is on sale at C.V.S. and women constantly compliment her on her perfect complexion and ask her for her secrets. A diet rich in protein (red meat), fish with omega 3 fatty acids (i.e. salmon), fruits and veggies, and a lot of water is the secret. If you eat foods that have the necessary vitamins and anti-oxidants which promote healthy skin, then you will have beautiful, healthy skin no matter what brand of makeup and skin care products you use.

Tip #2: Exfoliate Regularly
Exfoliation keeps the pores of your body unclogged and the blood circulation flowing which, as I was taught by my mother, promotes radiant-looking skin. I do a thorough exfoliation weekly with a Korean Sauna Bath Towel (not available on the web but can be found in any Korean supermarket). Whenever I use it, I can see all the pore-clogging dead skin cells come off my body. In between deep exfoliations, I use a body scrub such as Sabon’s Body Scrub in Lemon/Mint. It exfoliates, moisturizes, and leaves my skin smelling sweet! (The new enzyme peels are also great!)

Tip #3: Away With Grungy Locks!
Whether you style your hair down, pulled back into a pony tail, or in an updo, healthy-looking hair is a MUST. Hair should always be treated weekly with an intensive deep conditioning treatment. I like to think that when my hair is being deep conditioned, it is being rejuvenated from daily styling with hot irons and harsh elements from styling products and the environment (i.e. sun, pollution). A little silly I guess, but the benefits are not.
Shampooing daily is considered a “no-no”, but there are products such as dry shampoos and hair mists made especially for in-between shampoos. They leave your hair and scalp feeling clean and smelling fresh.

Tip #4: Find a Skin Care Regimen
And stick to it religiously. Aside from the usual cleansing and moisturizing ritual, regular exfoliations (2-3 days a week) and a weekly detoxifying facials or facial steams are excellent ways to clear out the pores. Some, like me, may benefit form using a gentle exfoliating cleanser every morning. Whatever you preference, you skin care regimen should consist of products that will leave your skin clean, well moisturized, and blemish-free.

Tip #5: Keep It Simple
Too much color on the face especially colors that do not blend or coordinate well with each other, can make you look more like a circus clown than a fabulously chic female. Here is a rule I swear by: If you choose to wear a deep lip shade, go neutral with the eyes, and vice versa. As far as cheeks go, it’s best to stick with shades that match or enhance your natural “I’m gushing” shade such as pinkish brown shades. Using a bronzer is just as good if you want a little sun-kissed color. However, don’t go crazy by applying it all over your face. You want a natural sun-kissed look. Dust bronzer directly on your T-zone (forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin) since that is where the face tans. Oh, and never forget to use an eyelash curler. It’s the best instant eye opener.

Tip #6: Hands Up, Feet Out
A fabulously chic female’s hands and feet are always shaped, polished, and well-moisturized. She will not, and does not, let something silly as freezing weather and snow prevent her from treating her hands and feet from a relaxing mani/pedi. If weekly visits to a nail salon does not fit into your budget that is still no excuse for walking around with chipped nail polish and dry hands and feet. It doesnt have to take too a lot of money or time to make sure hands and feet are well groomed. So don’t let unpolished hands and feet ruin your fab look.

Tip #7: Never Leave the House without Wearing Your Favorite Fragrance
However, if you use the Sabon’s Body Scrub, you’ll realize you wont need to spritz any perfume on.

Tip #8: Attitude makes all the difference.
It is one thing to look beautiful and another to be a beautiful person. I have often seen an attractive female look less attractive because of her negative, often rude remarks toward others. A female who lacks courtesy and congeniality is very unbecoming no matter how well-dressed and well-made up she may be.

Confidence – a healthy dose of confidence – can make a big difference. Before you expect others to see you as beautiful and fabulously chic, you have to believe that you are. I guess it sounds kind of cheesy. I’m a step away from telling you to wake up each morning saying “I Am Beautiful!” But how you see yourself influences how you treat yourself and how others will see you. Therefore, if you want people to perceive you as beautiful, then tell yourself that you are beautiful (just took that step and now in Cheesyville, USA) and BELIEVE IT.

Shockingly, the number one supporters of this barbaric trade are sports shoe manufacturers, who purchase the skins and turn them into football boots. Adidas, one of the industry’s biggest customers, is a major driving force behind the industry.

In 2006, David Beckham, who is paid millions of pounds to promote Adidas products switched to synthetics after years of wearing kangaroo football boots. However, despite Beckhams change of heart Adidas continues to make many other football boots out of kangaroo leather.

The sports world could use a major overhaul (two words: Michael Vick) with its "higher-than-any-law" attitude that even justifies the killing of innocent animals for a shoe, enough said!

When Vanessa Hudgens graced my TV screen last night during the 2007 Teen Choice Awards, I had mixed thoughts. My first thought: I love the maxi dress!
