What would first confuse you as a Fall collection for Badgley Mischka with all of the grey and black, transitioned nicely into a light, fresh, brilliance of muted colors and sophisticated style that are unmistakenably that trademark Badgley Mischka look. While I didnt feel disappointed at all by the gorgeous dresses with their light as air style or the gowns with their classic and understated elegance, the overall theme of this collection didnt seem to flow. Who is the Badgley Mischka girl this Spring? My favorite looks from this collection:

On material and Color selections
"Materials also play a big part in my collections. I go to Italy with a sketch of the shoe and a color scheme in mind, but sometimes a leather will be so luscious and I wont have the right shoe to put it on, so I will create a shoe for it. At the end of the day, there are only so many cuts that you can put on a shoe--its all been done before. So what differentiates the shoe is the materials used and having the perfect last (shoe) shape and heel shapes. "
