| Paris Special Hummer August 8, 2007 15:46:00 In an attempt to show that she has an environmental consciousness Paris Hilton recently was quoted in US Weekly as saying that she ordered a Hummer Hybrid. However a Hummer spokesperson later had to correct her claim stating that such a vehicle does not in fact exist.
Poor Paris, shes trying so hard, I think Hummer should make a line of cars just for her, maybe with autopilot for those drunken nights!

| I just hired a personal shopper. August 8, 2007 03:50:26I did, honest! Only, its not an actual human being -- its the StyleFeeder Personal Shopper, an interactive shopping assistant. The online tool helps you narrow down your potential purchases. Think of it as the super-organized gals shopping buddy. You can even connect live with your real friends and other fellow fashion mavens to help you make your shopping decisions. Its as if youre shopping with your girlfriends, only theyre not really there. (Wait, that sounds a little pathetic. Ha!) Eh, whatever -- the StyleFeeder Personal Shopper is a great resource nonetheless. Sometimes I just dont have it in me to make certain decisions. A second opinion comes a long way. And when youre online, its sort of hard to describe to your trusted fashionista friends what youre planning to wear to the venue in question. With this shopping godsend, you can poll your buds about ensemble options if youre not sure if itll fly at that next event of yours. I heard Mary-Kate and Ashley connect with their fashion-obsessed fans on StyleFeeder, too. The Olsen twins are sharing their personal taste with users. Supposedly, Lauren Conrad (love love love her) and Kelly Rowland are StyleFeeder users, too. So want to jump on the personal shopping bandwagon? Just log onto www.stylefeeder.com, click on "Get your Personal Shopper," and just follow the simple instructions to incorporate the Personal Shopper sidebar on your Web browser. When youre ready to shop, just access your cyber shopping buddy, and it will explore the Web with you. Test it out and let me know whatcha think! Happy shopping!

| Before Baby and Jail Time, There was ... July 30, 2007 19:51:59... a photo shoot with Nylon for their August cover. And boy, did I love the clothes?! The rack roster included the latest creations from Something Else, Calvin Klein, Dinosaur Designs and Chronicles of Never. I dont know about you chickies, but give me layered necklaces, skinny pants (high-waisted or not) and gold pumps, and you can call it a day (and a well-dressed day, at that).

| What Posh is Good For July 25, 2007 05:04:15 Did you guys catch the "Victoria Beckham Coming to America" show? I have to be honest, I was never a big fan of hers. The show only solidified this stance for me. Nevertheless, I cant help but love her posh style. The former Spice Girl may not know how to throw a baseball or fry an egg, but she sure knows fashion. Rightfully so, she launched her own high-end denim and sunglasses collection, dVb, last year. Word is, the full collection is due out this September and will be available at Saks Fifth Avenue and Henri Bendel. But FYI, gals, jeans are a whopping $250 and the sunglasses arent any cheaper! Lucky for us, other big name celebs launched more affordable collections. My B-F-F (and new beauty and style freelance writer), Dianna Bergman, reports on more designing celebs. Read about it here and put in your two cents.

| Forms of Flattery July 23, 2007 22:25:26
I have a confession to make. I hate my butt. My junk-in-the-trunk is just not proportionate to the rest of my body. To minimize the bottom-heavy effect, I sought help. Were all beautiful in our own ways, yes. But lets be realistic here, some outfit choices of ours need extra conditioning and a little fine-tuning. So if youre "blessed" with short legs, a big tummy, a long torso, a small bust, big arms, etc. check out this field guide to flatter your figure.

| You Dont Need to Sing to Look Like an American Idol July 23, 2007 17:01:00 "American Idol", the hit singing reality show, will be producing a line of clothing directed at girls and tweens. The design of the denim-focused brand will be rock n roll", and will be marketed towards all of those prepubescent girls who stand outside in the pouring rain, holding up fan signs for their favorite Idol.
Its a smart move on the companys part, taking advantage of commercial trends. On the other hand, since when did "American Idol" lyrics branded on a pant leg become "rock n roll"?

| Magical Success for Last Harry Potter Book July 23, 2007 15:28:00 The 7th and last book in the Harry Potter series was so much embraced by young and old fans alike that business was taken away from the 5th movie, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix".
In spite of spoiler leaks around the internet in the past week, enthusiasm for the new book was still strong. Fans locked themselves in their room all weekend, refusing to sleep until they finished the 759-page book.
"J.K. Rowling does not disappoint; I thought she did brilliantly. It was terrifying; sometimes I was scared to keep reading on. I cried buckets," said Todd, 20, who lamented that "never again will I stay up all night reading a new Harry Potter book, or go to its midnight release party, or invent wild theories about Harry being the Heir of Gryffindor." Me too, Todd, me too.

| Cooler Couture July 21, 2007 01:47:01Who else is going to the beach this weekend? I cant wait ... Partly because I need a little day in the sun, and also because I get to use my new, snazzy cooler. Why am I so excited about a cooler, you ask? Well because it looks like this:

See?! The trendy tote comes with an insulated compartment thats perfect for keeping drinks and food cool when youre out sunning, at the gym or even shopping. You can remove the cooler from the handbag to wash it when it gets all yucky. And FYI, animal-lovers, they come in faux leather and durable canvas. I got the canvas one in red, which also comes in camel and kiwi.

| I gained, I lost, I pondered ... July 19, 2007 05:07:32After the great break-up of 05 -- I was living with a boyfriend, moved out, long story -- I lost 20 pounds. While some women reach for comfort foods (ice cream, chocolate, the works) and gain weight, during troubled times I lose it. Food just doesnt taste as good when Im sad.
I recovered, of course. I met the man of my dreams (fingers crossed) eight months ago, and were still going strong. But there was one snag: I gained 15 pounds.
A month ago my wisdom teeth had to go. I have a high pain tolerance, honest! Even still, I had a tough recovery from the extraction and couldnt eat solids for two weeks. Living on milk shakes and coffee caused my weight to drop 10 pounds.
So where am I going with this? Ive had to buy 40 pairs of jeans to uphold a decent wardrobe amidst weight fluctuations. Im sure youre all familiar with the denim tale -- so many jeans varying in lengths, shapes, sizes and styles. Where do you turn? How do you choose?
When I was heavier, I went with the flares and bootcuts. They were perfect for accentuating the positives (my rounder booty) and downplaying the negatives (my thicker thighs). Now that Im lighter, Ive been sporting skinny jeans and straight-legs. Just last week, I went to American Eagle to buy the Straight 77 Jean (pictured below). Im not even kidding -- best $40 I ever spent. Plus, the sales gal gave me a ticket, which will be valid for either a free pair of jeans or $10 off my next jean purchase. For more details and to get in on the good deal, surf www.ae.com.

| Cameron Diaz Offends Peruvian Natives June 23, 2007 05:12:00 While on a tour of Peru this Friday, Cameron Diaz, star of "Shrek" has accidentally offended the locals who had experienced decades of abuse and violence from Maoist guerilla insurgents.
Diaz carried a messenger bag with the slogan, "Serve the People" printed in Chinese on the flap, which was a popular political slogan of the Communist Leader Mao. While in some countries these bags are regarded as stylish and harmless, Peruvians were highly offended by her choice of accessories.
In addition to being offensive (though we know she didnt mean it), why carry an olive green messenger bag in the first place?
